An intimate wedding at Crystal Mountain Ski Resort. Michelle and Joe were so nice and they had such a fun circle of friends and family. Definitely a close knit group. Really enjoyed the wedding (except for the drive home … falling snow + slippery roads + 35mph = 4.5 hours for a trip that would normally take 3). 😛

We took Anya and Nick’s engagement pictures at the church where they were getting married. It was last February and cold so we wanted to find a nice indoor location with lots of light. The day ended up being pretty mild and we were able to get some outdoors shots, too.

I met Alycia & CJ in May and took their engagement pictures at the beach at Grand Haven. They were so nice and I knew right away that they were very much in love. So comfortable together and in front of the camera. They were married last September. Here are a few of their favorite images from the day.
Lindsey and Kevin are so nice and such a cute couple. We had their engagement session all planned and the weather ended up being questionable that day – very hazy, not a good sunset kind of day. So we postponed and I’m so glad we did because we got gorgeous weather and the most beautiful sunset. We drove to Holland and took their pictures at Tunnel Park. Love that place. 🙂

I met Kelli and Dan on the campus of MSU, where they attend, to take their engagement pictures. We went to this great little children’s garden and then to the river where they like to spend time and feed the ducks. I had such a great time taking their engagement pictures. The changing leaves were just so gorgeous and they were very comfortable in front of the camera. Their love is so obvious. A really perfect couple. Can’t wait to shoot their June wedding. 🙂

Anya & Nick were married last April. I didn’t meet Anya until only a few months before their wedding. She said she had been putting the decision off for some reason and I remember her telling me later that now she knew why. When she wrote me about her favorite pictures, she told me that she had prayed and prayed that God would bring her the perfect photographer and she was more than blessed. She’s so sweet. I was definitely blessed to meet them, too. Here are a few of her favorites from their wedding and her thoughts.

The pictures are amazing!!! Thank you so much! We’re thrilled by them, they came out better than I could have even expected. Every one is great and I don’t know how I’ll ever decide. My mom already has a huge list of ones that she’s ordering! It was funny because when we were looking at them we kept saying "I didn’t even know she was there taking a picture!" You managed to be everywhere, yet no one seemed to notice! Out of all the decisions we made during the wedding planning, picking you for a photographer was the best one!
