The wedding on Saturday was really nice and, again, they were wonderful people! I feel so blessed. It was so much fun hanging out with the girls getting ready in the morning, the weather was gorgeous, the ceremony went off without a hitch and the reception was a really fun time with great food! A beautiful day!
Haven’t gone through all the hundreds of pictures yet, but here are a few that caught my eye.
[Michelle was all dressed and it was quite warm in the upstairs room in her grandparents’ house where she got ready so she sat down to relax and cool down. I caught this shot and several others while she sat there. No posing. Just watched until she tilted her head at the right angle and caught it!]
[The flower girl was so adorable. I couldn’t stop taking pictures of her. This was the moment that her mom sent her down the aisle all by herself. She started to go and then suddenly turned back to wait for her mom to walk with her instead. Such a cute moment.]
[After the ceremony, we had time for some formal pictures of the family and bridal party and once those were over it was just us and the couple. They did a few “smile for the camera” shots and then sat down together and tried to be as relaxed as you can with someone taking your picture. They did great and were really natural for me. You could see how much they love each other and what a fun couple they are. It was really sweet and I love this shot better than any of the other “look at me and smile” shots.]
[Love this shot. Took some of Mark and Michelle separately right before we headed to the reception. She wanted one with her veil over her face and I’m always happy to take requests for poses. Saw this one today and it made me smile. It really reminds me of some photos of Joe Buissink’s that I love. So happy to get this shot.]
