Had so much fun taking pictures of my friend Julie’s baby. He was only five days old. So precious. You quickly forget how small babies are when they first arrive. They just grow so fast. So it was great to be able to capture pictures of him in those first days.
They have a living room with lots of windows so I laid black fabric over a chair in the corner and propped him up there. The lighting was so great. I snapped a bunch of shots before he got fussy. Got a few of him and mommy, too.
I don’t do a lot of indoor shoots because I work mostly in a candid style and don’t own or want a lot of fancy lighting equipment. That’s just not who I am or how I want to work. But give me a room with great light and I can get some nice natural looking shots.
Julie really liked the pictures I got while I was there. That’s all that matters to me. 🙂
