a sweet valentine

I got the sweetest email today from Kelli, one of my 2006 brides.

Hi Kris,

It is Kelli. You shot my wedding June 17th, 2006 and I’m still having a blast with fun/special things to do with the AMAZING pictures you took! I made this Valentine’s Card for my Husband Dan and he just loved it! Your pictures brought back all those wonderful special moments between Dan and I on our wedding day. … I thought I would share it with you because it was made possible because of your fantastic talent!!!

Thanks again for being such a wonderful photographer and friendly person, one that I still feel comfortable emailing after almost 2 years!

I love that I still have this connection with so many of the couples and families I’ve worked with. She totally made my week!!! 🙂

I emailed her back right away and thanked her for sharing with me and asked if it was OK if I shared her card here on the blog. Here is the card she made for Dan using their wedding pictures:

Her words on the card are really beautiful.

The front reads:
You are so much more than just my husband

Inside:
You are the face I can’t wait to see at the end of a long day ..
The arms I want wrapped around me when I’m feeling all alone in the world ..
and the only person in the universe that I’d ever want to spend the rest of my life with.
