I meant to share this a couple weeks ago. Lindsey and Kevin’s album arrived and I took a few quick pictures to share. I love these albums. Every time I get one for my wedding couples, it makes me want to dig out my old wedding pictures and make a book of my own. Someday …

Something I’ve been doing for a couple years now is making these cute little announcement cards for all of the weddings I shoot. They have a link inviting the couple’s family and friends to view their pictures online. This link leads them to a little custom webpage that I put together for all my couples. I design the cards in Photoshop using one of their engagement pictures (or a picture they email me if they don’t do an engagement session with me) and I customize the color to match their wedding colors. Everyone loves these and they blend right in with the other wedding decor. 
Thought I would share some pictures for all my potential brides out there.

I’m always so excited when an album arrives on my doorstep. Rachael & Nick’s coffee table book arrived yesterday and it looks fabulous. I love seeing the design in print and I know they are going to LOVE it!
I snapped a few pictures before I boxed it all up for them. Laid it on this sweet afghan my mother-in-law crocheted for me this past year for Christmas. Made in my business colors. How sweet is she.

I am always so excited to see the finished album. They are so beautiful. One of these days, I will take all my old wedding pictures and design my own album and get me one of these beauties!!

With the cooler weather this past week, it’s finally feeling like fall in Michigan, which is getting me excited for the upcoming holidays. If you would like your prints in time for Christmas, please order no later than November 16th. I also offer custom designed cards. Here are a few designs I’ve come up with for this year. We can do them in a 5×7 folded greeting card style or long 4×8 prints. Card orders also need to be ordered by Nov. 16. Please contact me asap for more information.
Julie & Terry’s coffee table book arrived today! Can’t wait to send it to them. They will love it. The quality of these books is gorgeous! Here are a few quick shots I took before I packed it all up to send.
Received the finished Zookbook album for one of my favorite couples, Stacy + Matt, whose wedding I photographed in September. It looks so gorgeous, I wanted to keep it to show off. Instead, I snapped a few shots of the album before I sent it off to them this morning.

Love it! I really feel like the album is the perfect end product for your wedding pictures, such a special heirloom. I’ve put together some packages that an album credit, but the albums can also be purchased after the wedding, too. Whatever works best for my couples works for me. I’m excited to be working on some clients’ albums in the coming months and I thought I would share a few photos of the album I carry. It’s so hard to really get a feel for how nice these are by looking at a picture, but this will give you a look at some of the details of these books.
This is the 10×10 leather album
One of the things I love about this album is the way they mount the images on each page and leave this tiny little seam in between so that the album will lay flat when opened.
Have your name and wedding date branded onto the leather cover
The pages are really nice and thick and each is sealed with a protective coating to keep fingerprints and dirt off.
Here is the 10×10 coffee table book
Looks like coffee table books you’d see at the book store – only much nicer! Each comes with a dust jacket and slip cover to protect the book.
The pages are a laminate matte, kind of a silky feeling to them, very nice and the images are extremely sharp.
